Well, a few weeks ago, she sent me a lovely magazine.

Inside was a lot of inspiratie!  {inspiration}

I enjoyed all the photos, but I also enjoyed trying to figure out the meaning of all the Dutch words!
I could guess some of the them on my own... but I wanted to learn more! 
{thank goodness for Google translator.}

One afternoon, last week, 

I stepped out onto the patio to get our dog Muffin...

I looked up, as I often do ... and did at double take!
Footsteps?

My Manna from Heaven

Apples I dreamed about in January

are dripping from the

branches where

the blossoms

used to

be

We gather them

imperfect

but pure and sweet

and

beautiful in their "mother's" eyes.

Dad's here for our backyard apple harvest.

He can't peel them...but he will help us eat them!!!

Sky Watch at Indian Lake, Adirondack Mts. New York

We need to sing with all the voices of the mountains

Every August

my husband and son camp at Indian Lake in the Adirondack Mts.

The main event is the Perseids Meteor Shower.

This year, skies were cloudy during the day creating spectacular sunrises and sunsets

and super clear at night to see the meteorites!

Neither Chris nor Jason had a watch or cellphone.

All elements of time were left in the car.

They loved this!
and

They love having this time together.

I can quit any time

as long as I don't go down the aisle that sells the 5 pack.

or stop at the fabric shop and head for the novelty prints.
